Our Procedure

We make sure we get the job done as you envisioned it!

We start with a consultation in which we find out what our prospective client desires and expects. We discuss your options and budget needs and take measurements and photos at the building or remodeling site. We make surethat we fully understand your needs so that we can provide a design and estimate that works for you.

Our estimates are honest, comprehensive and competitive, and we strive to be as accurate and realistic as possible.

Once construction begins, some surprise elements may come into view which were not visible before, such as dry rot, improper structural and plumbing, moisture problems, etc. We do our very best to predict such potential costs BEFORE construction begins, by estimating such costs as extras. We then recommend setting aside a portion of the budget to cover such costs.

Once the budget has been agreed upon, we draw the final designs and planning and secure any permits you need.

Part of our promise to our client is to always endeavor to get the job done on time and in budget. During the process, we take care to answer any questions you may have and keep you informed of our progress.

We keep the site clean as possible while working, and do a cleanup at the end.

Do you have un-permitted work in your home?

Did you know that if you are buying or selling a home and there was construction done previously without a permit, the square footage of that construction cannot be included in the selling price?

We are experts at bringing un-permitted construction up to code. We do an investigation of the un-permitted construction to discover how it was done originally and to see if it is within code. If it isn't, we estimate the cost to bring it up to code, do the necessary changes and coordinate with the city to get the necessary paperwork signed off.
